This Privacy Policy explains how Giggle Republic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information for the Puzzle Republic mobile application and related website (the “Service”).
Puzzle Republic is an offline-first puzzle platform. Your Citizen profile, game progress, and preferences are stored on your device. We do not require an account, and the app does not send your gameplay data to Giggle Republic servers.
1. Who we are

2. Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, Puzzle Republic may store locally:
- Citizen profile — optional display name (defaulting to “Citizen”), Republic Level, XP, coins, streaks, and cosmetic unlocks such as themes or avatars.
- Gameplay data — puzzle progress, clears, statistics, achievements, mission state, daily reward progress, and related activity needed to run the districts.
- Preferences — settings such as sound, haptics, animations, Auto Check, timer visibility, and reduce-motion.
This information stays in on-device storage (for example a local database). We do not require an email address or password to play.
3. What we do not collect today
As of the date above, Puzzle Republic does not:
- Create cloud accounts or sync progress to our servers
- Include advertising SDKs (such as AdMob)
- Include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit usage data to us
- Request location, contacts, photos, or similar sensitive device permissions for core play
4. Website
When you visit gigglerepublic.com/puzzle-republic, our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) as part of operating the website. The marketing site is separate from in-app local storage.
5. How information is used
On-device data is used only to:
- Provide puzzles, progression, missions, achievements, and preferences
- Remember your Citizen profile between sessions on that device
- Improve the experience through features you enable in Settings
We do not sell personal information.
6. Your choices
- Edit your name — change your Citizen display name in the app profile where available.
- Clear local data — uninstalling the app, or clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, removes local Puzzle Republic data on that device.
- Contact us — email Email us with privacy questions.
Because progress is local, deleting the app (or app storage) is the primary way to remove your Citizen data from a device.
7. Children’s privacy
Puzzle Republic is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us data through our website or email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Third-party stores
When you download Puzzle Republic from an app store (for example Google Play or the Apple App Store), that store’s privacy practices apply to the download and billing relationship. Review their policies separately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the Service changes — for example if we later add optional cloud sync, analytics, or advertising. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, when changes are material, provide additional notice in the app or on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
